THE ROLE:

 

Media iQ is currently seeking a content specialist to work with the team at their Bangalore office. This is a full-time position. This job is mainly content writing for multimedia channels.

The role will report into the Senior Content Marketing Specialist. To succeed in this role, you will work closely with your peers and mentors. You will be supported by your peers and experts across many fields who will help you succeed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITITES

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop variety of content pieces keeping in mind the tone and brand of MiQ
• Manage and execute on-going content projects with established templates and editorial calendar
• Produce high-quality short, medium and long-form copy that incorporates the best practices for digital use
• Partner with the design team to create interplay between textual and visual elements
• Collaborate with the internal team and actively participate in project briefings
• Track and monitor performance for all digital content projects
• Proactively bring ideas for content, promotions, video scripts, contests, blogs,etc.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Must be passionate about writing
• Prior experience or a keen interest in Digital Marketing industry as well as a good understanding and interest in the technology and analytics field will be a definite plus
• Any experience with storytelling through data and strong grip of insights from data in a visual or other forms of content will be a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, creative writing, or related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Any experience working with Cross Geographical teams (international) will also be a plus
• Strong understanding of website technology, social and email marketing including SEO, and Social Media platforms
• Knowledge of web analytics and the ability to pick up new monitoring and reporting tools quickly. Google Analytics experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the demands and directions of the work are constantly changing
• Must be proactive, self starter and open to working independently and be self driven

EDUCATION

• UG – B.A, B.Sc – Computers, Maths, Statistics or Any Specialization
• PG – M.A – Communications, M.Sc – Maths, Computers, Statistics or Any Specialization
