Sales Manager (Education)
Job description
The Sales Manager (Education) will identify and network with university faculty and students to help promote THORS e-Learning courses in the Indian market. This position’s main responsibility will be to travel to engineering colleges all over India to meet and collaborate with Placement Officers, HOD’s, and Deans of these institutions. He/ She will be responsible for making proposals to engineering colleges, sales goals and planning, negotiation, and finalizing long term subscriptions. This position will report to the Vice President (Sales & Marketing) and primarily work with the sales team in India.

- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential clients
- Build long-lasting relationships with customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Production/Metallurgical Engineering
- 5-7 years industry experience in Foundry, Machine Shop, Metal Forming with selling experience of Cutting Tools/ Machine Tools/ e-Learning solutions in the manufacturing industry
- Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent grammar skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work within our company’s guidelines and standards

- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn
- Detail oriented and organized
Desired Skills & Expertise
- Basic understanding of the Salesforce software
- Basic knowledge of social media and digital marketing is a plus
- Manufacturing and/or engineering work experience
- Persistence and perseverance
- Willingness to travel and network on a regular basis
